Whether people believe it or not, a 'code red' climate emergency has been issued to all governments globally. They will do what is necessary to prevent a +2 degree increase in global temperatures. The outcome if they fail, will be globally devastating with large social displacement and potential food and water shortages.
It's hard not to see governments globally leaning on nuclear energy for reliable baseload energy generation given the failure of renewables like solar and wind, plus the current shortages of coal and gas which is not helping the push for zero emissions. The green energy shift is now starting in earnest since that 'code red'.
It's been a long while since I've held an investment that I also feel somewhat connect to as I've been lucky enough to travel to some of the highest and cold places on earth and seen first-hand the impact of increasing temperatures on these places. If you can't see it, you really need to get out more.
