    Hi @tigers2008

Not sure if you were referring to me or @Fishinnick.

What makes you think 80% dilution over 95%?

I have limited experience with shorting as well. I agree with your observation, surely there are larger gains to be made else where. Perhaps they are keeping the positions open because once closed they may not be able to re-open? I.e. brokers aren't offering these positions anymore, which I've validated is the case from a retail investor perspective.

@jb2041 made an interesting point about the new lender(s) potentially holding these short positions. That theory is as good as any at this point however why they'd choose to hold up the price at current levels escapes me. Wouldn't they be incentivised to push it lower?

I had a look at the course of sales today and there weren't any glaring signs of manipulation to me. What are you seeing? 150k shares is still less than a $15k trade although represented 17% of volume traded.

@mirren seems to have a good handle on the reported shorts so I'd generally defer to her on this topic.

Shorts haven't been closing in any aggressive way IMO. Like @steve068 posted, they've reduced by ~0.37% over the past 12 months vs. 77.7% fall in share price. Take note SWC.
