Blaize was investigated years ago it is not paradigm changing technology. doesn’t have to be just has to sell. no one is saying Blaize is better than Akida
Mercedes/Damlier first invested Blaize in 2019/20 or earlier. and again in 2024
Mercedes came knocking on Brainchip’s door in late 2021 after giving up on Loihi and actually being invested in Blaize. and still came back and invested more money in Blaize
Blaize was likely one of the competitors Mercedes said Brainchip AKIDA was 5 to 10 times more efficient than. agree, but Mercedes still invested more money in Blaize…how much have they invested in BRN (wish they did then we wouldn’t have needed LDA)
The Blaize discussion is a deliberate red herring. just like BRN finally disclosing the departures of 2 key staff in the middle of a podcast
