Striking differences in accounts of Jesus’ crucifixion: An analysis of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John

You continue to flounder, hallucinate and mislead yourself and people,

    Even the four scribes disagreed

The church will not benefit you when you stand before God (the Father) and He holds you accountable

The four scribes disagreed on the issue of crucifixion, and their statements are conflicting. Here, I cannot be certain that Christ was the crucified one.

I do not rely for salvation from hell on a book that The four scribes do not know how to verify the facts in it

Therefore, the opinion of the party that supports crucifixion does not matter because they are seeking the help of these false scribes!

Astudy of the Bible, especially the accounts of the crucifixion, reveals variousinconsistencies. These contradictions question the reliability of the Bible wehave today and what is mentioned within it. Just as a lawyer, on hearingdiffering accounts from so-said eyewitnesses that place the entire case intodoubt, is compelled to question the reliability of what he has heard, so too isthe case with students of religion when they read various clashing accounts inthe Bible.

Inmost cases, the authenticity of an eyewitness is completely dropped when astory, between two people, doesn’t match.

Noneof the four gospel writers was an eyewitness to the crucifixion; we only havesecond-hand reporting. Now, I’m no lawyer, but I know enough to know thatsecond-hand reporting in courts, in some cases, is ruled out.

. Seeing such differences, any student ofreligion is compelled to seriously question the authenticity of their words.

    Vinegaror myrrh

BeforeJesus was placed on the cross, the Bible states he was given something to drink.

    Matthewwrites:

They gave him vinegar to drink mingledwith gall: and when he had tasted thereof, he would not drink.” (Matthew 27:34)

    However,Mark states:

And they gave him to drink wine mingledwith myrrh: but he received it not.” (Mark 15:23)

Lukeand John are quiet regarding this matter.

    Timeof the crucifixion

It isimportant to record the time at which an incident occurred when determining theauthenticity of a story. This is, among all other evidence, a crucial pointthat can build the authenticity of a narration. If there seems to be acomplication or mismatch between two stories of the same incident, it opens theentire case to more questions.

Whenwe read the Bible, two different times in the accounts of the crucifixion havebeen recorded by Mark and John.

    Markstates:

And it was the third hour, and theycrucified him.” (Mark 15:25)

And it was the preparation of thepassover, and about the sixth hour: and he saith unto the Jews, Behold yourKing!” (John 19:14)

    And

    Thecolor of Jesus' robe

We readin Matthew 27:28, “And they stripped him and put on him a scarlet robe.” Thiswas just before the crown of thorns scene. So there he was naked except for thescarlet robe.

Thesoldiers twisted together a crown of thorns and put it on his head. They clothedhim in a purple robe

    John 19:2

A dangerous prophecy that no one talks about from the Bible proves that Christ was not crucified and raised to heaven
