The first 13 verse of John are all pretty much about Yehowah, introducing him, who was, what was and what his word means, represents and brings.

John 1:1,2 are The God and his logos/plans, if you claim Jesus is the Word, then John 1:3 DEMANDS that you show that Jesus spoke the Gens creation into being, as you cannot separate 1,2 & 3.
1:3 Is part of Yehowah's logos/plan 1 & 2, expressed into action.
Jesus had ZERO hands on in creation and he also confirms this in the following;
Matt 19:4 - And He answered and said to them, “Have you not read that He who madethem at the beginning ‘made them male and female,’
You cannot tell me that if Jesus was there, that he wouldn't have said, 'we" created them.
His language here clearly implies, that he found out by reading the scriptures, which he often quoted.
