Another interesting meeting in India ... this time Senator Matthew Canavan. Matthew Canavan is the Minister for Resources and Northern Australia, and is a Senator for Queensland.
Matt's philosophy is to have a mix of energy sources which include coal + gas. Given his locale, he is going advocate for coal + gas to support jobs throughout QLD including coal fired power plants.
So what is Matt up to in India ... meeting with Piyush Goyal (Minister of State with Independent Charge for Power, Coal, New & Renewable Energy and Mines in Government of India) + Birender Singh (Union Minister for Steel, Govt of India) which also included Bruce Murphy (Aus High Commission New Delhi) + Harinder Sidhu (Australian High Commissioner to India).
