These days SP hanging over 2.9c. Obviously market still doubts on whether NWE can farm-out TP/15 successfully or not.

As we all know, in latest media report, NWE's CEO said:

"With the period of repositioning now complete,...to drive shareholder value."

I didnot understand the underlying meaning of "repositioning now complete" until this morning.

Now I got the answer:

It means shifting from an explorer to an operator(producer).

So FARM-OUT IS OUT OF QUESTION AND NWE ALREADY KNOW IT IS THE OPERATOR,

why the announcement still on pending?

Because NWE and JV partner need to know the specific $$$ of the drilling costs to put into the agreement---"JV X will invest up to $$$ to" Before NWE got the $$$figure, the agreement can not be finalized.

However, CEO already mentioned Xanadu may cost 7 million, looks like under budget.

why in March?

Because the drilling engineering specialist group will work out the final drilling costs in March.

who is the farminee?

Not sure, but looks like it's an oversea multi billion company---"eyes on NWE's entire north perth basin" not a tone of small-medium sized company. also not like a local company.

I reserve Sinopec as the partner, as we all know the chinese just give an takeover offer to Arrow energy today, this is a sign that the Chinese company keep eyes on Australian oil company.


so all in all NWE already leaked(announced):

a,repositioning now complete
b,being an operator
c,remaining 50% interest of TP/15
d,in March
e,Drilling cost around 7 million in Xanadu, mush less in Red hill. total $$$

What else do you want? without $$$ being finalized, NWE really cannot leak more.

Still not enough? still doubt?

But you should know by common sense, by logic, that without the JV partner, how could NWE indicate the a,b,c,d,e,???
