Hi all,
as Zia wisely pointed out after checking the Computershare registry - we all need to check and if necessary update our bank details there AS ASCIANO DO NOT PAY BY CHEQUE.

The refund info states the following:-
"NOTE: The company you own securities in may no longer offer payment by cheque. Where this is the case, you must provide your bank account details to receive the payment, or, if the company offers a reinvestment plan, you may choose to join the plan.

The following companies no longer offer payments by cheque (...ASCIANO is stated as not paying by check).

**NOTE that in the Computershare website the quote "you MUST provide bank account details" the word MUST is underlined. Sounds like it's not up for debate. So as Zia said, if your details aren't up to speed, you might end up with a shitfight getting your refund.
