After checking with an accountant and the company reports I am positive it is now possible to write off for tax purposes your investment in Telezon options, TLZOA. They expired worthless on 31 December last and even though they are going to be re-issued again at no cost, the fact remains that they have expired and as such are worthless.
Check with your accountant, do not take my word for it, but I am writing mine off in the current financial year.
Also check whether your loss may be a trading or capital loss depending on whether you are classified as an investor or a trader.
A little bonus perhaps on what has been a rather sorry saga.
