A lawyer is sitting at his desk and gets his first visitor in his new law firm.
To give the visitor an image that he is an impressive lawyer, he picked up his landline phone, pressed a few buttons and said into it, "Yes, Mr. Jones, I get the impression that you are desperate to get your house back, so can we set up an appointment tomorrow to discuss the formalities? …How about 2 pm tomorrow in my office? …Alright, I'll see you then.
"He looked at the visitor and said, "Sorry, I have another call to make. Busy day today, everyone wants my services. I'll get to you in a minute."He picks up the phone again and pressed a few buttons again. "…Hello? Can I speak to Mr Jackson, please? This is his lawyer, informing him that the fees for haven't been transferred to my account yet. After our great win, he should have paid by now. Will you relay that info to him, please? Yes, thank you."
He puts down the phone and smiles at the visitor. "Yes?" he asks , "How may I help you today?"
" I'm from Telecom, and I'm here to set up your new landline, sir."
