I have a small holding of ELD myself. All the analysts talk about how cyclical this is and how it is a bad time to enter. Better to buy when there’s a drought and it all seems doom and gloom, than to buy now when things are looking positive.
From my observation it doesn’t seem extremely cyclical. its price has steadily risen over the past few years even through the drought.
I don’t really like trading in and out of shares. I’ve actually never sold shares ever, I just keep accumulating very long term holds.
I am setting DRP on this one and I’ll just check in on it every once and a while. Hopefully I’ll still be a holder when I die.
