"ARM would remain a substantial producer of chrome concentrate from its Two Rivers platinum mine and Nkomati Nickel mine. It would consider whether to extract chrome from the ore coming from its Modikwa platinum mine, Mr Schmidt said.

Two Rivers produces 10,000 tonnes a month and Nkomati produces 350,000 tonnes annually. Modikwa has the potential to generate 30,000 tonnes a month.

Russia’s Norilsk Nickel has clearly stated it wants to sell out of its partnership in Nkomati, which produces nickel, chrome and about 100,000oz of platinum group metals a year."continues
