What is heartening at this stage is the zinc price recovering to be back above USD 2,000 per tonne. This means that the project (assuming that cost inputs have remained stable or improved - which admittedly is a massive assumption) is at around break even. Makes it a heck of a lot easier to attract debt funding when the project is not a loss maker from day 1.
Still ... a lot of things can go wrong from here. This is far from being an out and out buy but at these levels surely worth the punt.
