I wasn't at the Melb gathering, so it was good to listen to your recording.
The first question at the start of the Q&A session around the 26m to 31m segment about "Why CD19 as a marker for solid tumours" was answered well by Yuman & Saul together in simple language that we easy for the lay person to understand.

    Key points:
    * Yuman: When someone gets a B cell Lymphoma or Leukemia, every one of the bad cancer cells carries will carry the CD19 target
    * Yuman: Safe and efficacious drugs have been approved by the FDA for the successful treatment of B cell Lymphoma or Leukemia cancers
    * Saul: There is no single CD target for the wide range of solid tumour cancers
    * Saul: So their hypothesis was "can we find a way to get solid tumour cancer cells to express the CD19 target"
    * Saul: Then see whether the already approved safe and efficacious blood cancer drugs are effective in finding and killing the solid tumour cancer cells expressing CD19 as a target.

    Thanks for sharing.
