All that's true except for the break to 60c SP at the time being based on a commercialization deal that was never made. Now that the market is no longer pricing in a deal, as it's pretty clear it's not happening, it's anyone's guess to what the company is worth now. The SP was only worth a few cents until the talk/expectation of a deal came into play. I continue to hold hoping I'm wrong, but had I come to this realization sooner (I kick myself for having such tunnel vision), I would have sold with the rest.
The unfortunate fact is, a biotech company is hardly worth anything until a deal is struck (as a bioproduct of convincing results). Although positive results may move the market, the increased value is based on the assumption or probability of a deal, the results themselves technically aren't worth a thing until a deal is made. That is the hard truth, a bitter pill to swallow, and a tough lesson learned.
