He takes early stage science and develops it further, before listing then commercialising it. Like a properly developer , he needs to sell stock from time to time to pay for more raw stock.
He controls several Biotechs just like a Property Developer often has several sites running .
Suggestions that he sold at the top because he knew more that the market show a naive understanding of his role in this process.
He is just going about his day to day business of developing cancer therapies.
