I use Iress Viewpoint also. In reference to Trade analysis widget below, My view was that volume from the ask is considered 'sellers' transactions and opposingly volume from 'Bid' is considered 'Buyers' transactions. Can someone clarify @slick? I'm a bit embarrassed if I have this ass about..
As for the course of sales (below), whilst I'm asking dumb questions:
Am I correct to assume that the BID in green contributes to the BID volume above on the trade analysis widget and the ASK in red contribute to the ASK volume?
Also, where are the trades on the course of sales (which are not BID or ASK labelled) are considered buyers or sellers?? which side do they come from?
