Hi Slick,
Isn’t preserving capital and trend trading basically the same thing?
On one hand no one can pick the top or bottom but if you sell parcels at near the high and buy where you’re comfortable with on a retrace you’re still preserving capital ‘and’ building your portfolio for the next leg up.
