Sorry in advance: I'm in the bear camp for today (just today), I would love to be proven wrong though. Here's my reasons:
1. The Blue moving average is the 13EMA, its showing good interaction with price on this current down trend. Price touches it, or maybe closes above it and its slammed down immediately on 6 occasions now. (highlighted on chart).
2. The talked about death cross, if this sell off takes place will get eerily close to happening.
3. This a pivotal day for the EMA cross up (5/13), the 8/20 cross is not at such a close crossing point, depends how many traders are paying attention to what I suppose as it becomes a self for filling prophesy. With overnight dramas on US markets, it isnt looking like today will be the day for the potential crossing, which could result in some lost short term hope.
5. VIX +19.79% for the day (see Tradingview chart below)


Correlation with VIX and IMU on previous areas of VIX levels.


On the flip side to these views, this small symmetrical triangle chart pattern may offer some area for support and resistance ands give us the coil to bounce out of the suffocating 13EMA.
