Thanks for your common sense, Slick. Investing in IMU has been an educational experience, first buying in 2020. I'm down about $35 000 and am about to commit that to paper, trades in market as we speak. Last year I felt pretty smart, riding the wave higher and higher, dollar signs jumping out of my eyes like a Hanna Barbera cartoon. The whole time I was here on HC, soaking up information, lies, opinions, spats, etc etc. Now that I've ridden the wave back down again, feeling jaded and cynical, I see that I fell hook line and sinker, investing emotionally as well as financially, and trying to take obvious baiters here (500 000 on 18.5!) with a grain of salt. But what I'm trying to say is this: while HC can be a rich source of information, constantly trying to decipher posts is draining, trying to figure out ulterior motives and fact checking. Also coming here to find reassurance is a deadly trap, but we all seem to. Here's the disclosure - I'm a single mum - and want to buy a house. The dream is diminishing. World of pain. The good news is that hope is not lost - there are other opportunities (and I'm on the hunt!!!) while watching from the sidelines. I'll get back in if it looks good again. Final note - I value that you aim to walk a middle line and present disclosures decently. Thanks.
