Don't worry, I've done the same thing except I wasn't even that smart and did the same thing again and to be honest I did it again after that.
Its a brutal education in this industry. The thing that has saved me and turned me around from bad practices was starting to learn TA many years ago from the likes of H00ts who was very generous to me. (don't tell him that).
