Maybe i can rephrase my thinking this way.
I think in addition to stock specific fundamental and technical analysis there is a 3rd factor controlling the price, and that is market sentiment. And i think that market sentiment is the dominant force at play until we get 'price' sensitive news (fundamental change) from IMU, not technical analysis.
The application of this perspective is for those trading over a period of weeks, as i think by the end of the year we will have 'price' sensitive news from IMU.
So if i think the NBI will go to new lows (for this year) over the next few weeks, then IMU will be trading at a lower price than it is now. However, if i think NBI will go up 20% over the next few weeks, then IMU will be trading at a higher price than it is now.
So my trading strategy over the next few weeks is tied with my view on the macro sentiment forecast, using TA to finesse entry or exit.
Maybe i can rephrase my thinking this way. I think in addition...
