I would basically agree with everything you have said again, except it is my opinion that I would say there are essentially 2 factors controlling the market.Fundamentals and sentiment. I have always considered Technical Analysis simply as an analysis of how's these 2 factors effect the price. The levels and predictability in TA are a result of human nature and sentiment. Studies have shown this predictability across all social fields, from guessing jelly beans in the jar to dispatching riot police before a riot. Markets are another way to visualise these social principles on a chart.
Anyway, let's see what happens with IMU now.
