hi all. I'm a long time FA investor that is learning about, and having a good crack at TA.
Maybe a stupid (at least a novice) question, how do you guys execute a quick buy or sell when the opportunity is there? I'm ordering a buy/sell and waiting a day or longer for the order to execute. by which time the circumstances have changed and/or opportunity has passed.
As a long term, buy and hold FA investor it doesn't bother me. I wait, or I pay the extra few cents and move on. But intraday trading seems difficult given my order is queued and I miss out.
Or am I just describing the inherent frustrations of trading?
