    Hi
CR implies there is no visible disease on a scan. It is not exactly the same as a cure. People can have a CR and then have the disease come back again. There could be a small amount of residual disease that is below the ability of the scan to detect it. It could also be completely resolved. Time will tell. That patient will have more scans. It is very unlikely to be due to other factors. It is impossible to know what proportion of patients will have a CR until they run the full trial as the numbers are too small in this preliminary trial.

The other results are also great. You can imagine having your cancer partially go away or not get worse would be greatly appreciated in someone who has exhausted all other treatment options. Some of these patients could go on to have a CR or may have a significant period where the disease does not progress. Even small gains in this setting are helpful. An average increase in survival of a few months is considered a good result. Particularly in this setting. This would be appreciated by doctors and patients and be useful clinically.

As imu are claiming it is an impressive early result in a group of cancers that are the hardest to treat and with varying treatment doses which have not yet been optimized. Exactly how good we won’t know until the full trials are run but there is plenty of reason for optimism.
