So it's the weekend and time to review and prepare for the week ahead. After only focusing on the intraday stuff during the week it's nice to look at the weekly chart which is the longest time frame I follow.
Apart from the long upper wicks the weekly is nice being in the upper levels of bollie bands (first time since August 2022). Unfortunately the wicks are simply a bi-product of such a high SOI and also the type of market we are in (quite risky). Register is as lose as a goose.
The weekly is indicating that a close above .105 is the significant level in the short term. IMO

This 30min chart has become my recent best friend and has me nicely in sync with the PA. As you can see the .083-.084 level is pretty significant so get a 8/20ema cross off that and I'm in. Pretty simple system but it's been working beautifully and everyone can understand it. (well almost everyone).

As a little take-away/tip this 10 min chart always gives a heads up as to volumes and momentum flowing in. And the gap expanding between the 8 and 20ema's is critical. If the 8 is rolling then go and put the kettle on again.

There's a test coming early next week to see if the SP can maintain it's trading above the bollie median line on the daily. MACD has already had it's say on that. Bands are still resetting from the spike but the median line plays true.

Cheers Slick, always appreciate you feedback, it's great to bounce ideas off other chartists here. I usually don't post as often as I have been here but IMU has given me a bit of a buzz lately. I sometimes wonder if I'm showing my hand a bit too much in my posts.

I usually focus mostly on the 1hr - 1wk charts as I tend to go for swing trades.
Looking at my 30min chart, 9c looks to have some significance too, it's a nice round number, people can often lean towards that, my 200sma is sitting there atm. The candles tested my 200ema and the top of the BB. My 200sma has crossed both of my 50s (which we can't call a death cross but similar principal) it'll be interesting to see how it interacts with the 200ema over the next week

Zooming in and looking at my 8s (ema light blue, sma dark blue) and 20s (ema light grey, sma black). The emas are about to make contact (tomorrow should decide this), my smas have been playing but looking a bit more positive at the end, I had a cross of the 8ema over the 20sma 3 candles ago though... Depending on how it plays out, it could be a messy interaction or a more significant signal with a stronger move one way or another

I don't have a 10min option on my charts so I'll have a look at my 5min. My 8s pulled away and openned up from my 20s, although the last few candles made my 8s cross negatively as the ema is more reactive and leads the way. Note that this can be a very jittery signal on such a short timeframe. But my 20s are still positive and the ema has been tested...

Another very interesting week coming for the IMU charts no doubt.
Also, just out of curiosity, are you familiar with emas and smas being used in tandem like this? I tried googling it but couldn't find anything. It has been a pretty interesting experiment so far.
