Thank you Crispin I'm glad you enjoyed my post, there are many excellent chartists on this thread and a lot of different ways to interpret things. We can sometimes put our neck out there when we post, as you have witnessed, it can get a bit nasty at times. I also choose to stay away from that, it won't make my life better and it certainly won't make it worse to just skip past it. If charting interests you keep reading peoples posts, there is a lot of value here, goolge and youtube will help you to understand things that pop up too, and always keep an open mind, things fall into place over time. I would also say, you don't have to learn things in real time, there is always years of chart to look back over and examine, try and find patterns, breakouts and indicator signals etc then figure out why they acted the way they have and what signs were there.
Yes I am an artist, it is how I have made my living for the past 25years and I own a small business. I am working more casually these days and I substitute that with trading, also I enjoy it and I think it would be a good skill to have as I get older and work less. My wave chart was just something I put together with nothing specific in mind in regards to indicators but it does give a bit of a flowing visual feel of movement. In terms of more shares on issue, that could definately be a contributor with liquidity and shares available at any given price point, it also shows how much money is trading hands and you can pinpoint the moment of interest so that is worth considering, it was a significant increase, there were obvious times where it was obviously strong buying volume, it gets a bit grey at times too, accumulation, manipulation trading, rebalances, shorting etc. I'm constantly learning new things.
