I got the big 6 in 2 years , what’s thoughts on self managed super fund , my accountant is telling me he will set one up at 60 no point right now

no capital gains tax on a self managed super fund if retiredwhich I currently am?
say I draw 1k per week how much is that taxed if retired and my only income , is it taxed on 52k per year less tax free threshold? Or are there other rules

is there any drawbacks on self managed super as a 60 year old retired with no other income

I own my own house etc and have no debt so 1k per week would be sufficient at this stage I think
