The one thing I’ve learned over the years is patience, good things generally come to those that have done their DD and have the ability to hold a stock.
Never been a trader but with the recent disruptions in the markets I could have made a killing if I had steel balls, Alas they are rigid but not to that depth of steel.
If I had traded over the last few weeks on a few stocks I would be 30k up. Couldn’t pick the bottom but that’s life as a bottom feeder.
I generally don’t buy any stock for a trade, I just buy for longterm gains, only sell a portion on a stock on a need to need moment, re holidays, tax bills.
