If someone drops 10mill sell into a buy queue of 15mil at 10c, and there are no off screen entrants, it is simply split according to the order book at 10c. If there are 100 orders at 10c making up that 15mil, and the first 80 make up 10mill, there will be 80 equal & opposing trades going through at the same time totalling the 10mill.So that 6mil that went through was because there was a 6mil buy order (either in the queue or off-screen).
