Used to catch sugar bags of Flathead of Portarlington with my day in the 60's. We would motor out for 20 mins in the bond wood boat and its baby Seagull. Drifting with a piece of white rag on the hook then 5-10 mins later we would catch one, chop it up for bait and 20 mins after that a bag would be full. More time was spent on the boat ramp filleting.
