To put it simply, I'm not prepared to sell my holdings until inflation returns to base line, war stops, and the economy starts to accelerate again. I'd be in far more pain watching it rise into the dollars having sold than I would losing everything and watch it go to zero. I'm pretty young though (30) and my career is still growing, so can afford to be a more reckless than a lot of others here.
That being said, I am gutted about the breakout below, I was sure it would be the opposite. It is what it is, at the end of the day, I think it will move higher, so I decided to suck it up and buy some more today. Time will tell. I personally don't think the US will get involved in the Middle East due to it's popularity around elections, Biden will no doubt lose if he does, so I think this hysteria will pass.
