I think we got close enough to call it a non issue now. Today’s price action was healthy and given its Sunday in the US we probably need a positive day tomorrow and the balance of this week to confirm the bottom was last Friday. Last week was very odd and whilst I mostly agree with Slicks version of events I do believe it was helped along by some larger players. Think of it this way: you know the ETFs are getting sold down so why not get ahead on a few of the underlying companies knowing full well you will be able to get them back cheaper.
The main focus for most of us here remains the science, the data and the confluence of events that will propel the share price higher - like much much higher.
