On all things ghosting and explanation from stochastic perspective yesterday (thanks acouch) I revisited some of the data history which I use to measure performance against broader trends. In instance IMU performance is measured against variables including ASX and also the NASDAQ Biotechnology Index to produce a beta type reading. For those that may be interested I have exported this data into Chart format for interpretation as one may see fit. On all things short (thanks plumvj) when we consider that one of the arguments against short selling is that by increasing supply it can have the effect of exaggerating (not causing) price negativity the reverse is also true when those same shorts are closed out and a market cycles towards a new phase of supply demand equilibrium. Caution still required as noted others (thanks HC Trader) but perhaps some sunshine on the horizon (thanks dory) and a few green shoots to finish the week.
