Be careful with the “averaging down” strategy mate. It’s generally a real no- no as a viable tactic. The opportunity and diversification cost is huge.
If you’ve made a mistake with an entry (man we all have) then by locking more capital into it doesn’t make the original mistake go away.
But if you have extra capital to put into a stock, please wait for it to be in an uptrend not a downtrend. Get those indicators firing that I spoke about in my weekly chart and you then have a reason to take an entry. IMO.
But I’d still be stressing that the averaging down play is a failed one in general. There are stocks that are moving forward that should be having your attention. Just a thought.
