look at JPYUSD and you have your answer…. Cheap money borrowed from JPY flowed into stocks in USD
Rates were bumped up 50bps in JPY and caught everyone off guard now they have to sell stocks but still can’t cover their loans…. There is your culprit of the sell off leading into fear!
