Good morning AC. Lol I knew someone was going to bring that up and almost just typed "fill the gap" & not mention a price.
For my part I have no interest in gaps, I've missed so many good trades waiting for gaps to fill that I just don't bother with them & I believe that gaps get filled by just getting in the road of price action rather than market protocol.

My understanding of a gap is where no trading has taken place and if a wick fills the gap is a contentious issue & depends on who you ask.
Most market participants don't realize that if bad news hits the market before the open the market maker has to drop his own stock price lower & lower to attract a bid, so he sits on the wrong side of the ledger & wants to be made whole again, same with a gap up.

I'll sit on the fence with this and just say please yourself, rather than be subject to a bollocking from @slick
Maybe a one pip gap doesn't matter anyway in the big picture, certainly not to me.
