When I today reviewed the convergence and divergence of both volume and price on the same scale I expected more strength for a stock that had appreciated 10% across 4 trading sessions. I have been TA blasphemous and toy charted this below on what I call a rotor because of the stator type relationship between the scaling and axis. Not yet satisfied that performance IMU last week was earned. Not satisfied that unwind of eight years of Yen carry trade excess is complete. Not convinced that data coming out of the USA is worthy of a 50 basis point September cut. Fully respectful of the relevance MACD and Bollinger and RSI but still I have absolutely no idea however on what to expect for either IMU or the market in general moving into next week. Volatility, volatility, volatility! Great for trading but not for me for longer than a day. Bear trap, dead cat bounce or blue skies ahead ? Stay safe and GLTAH moving forward. My opinion only of course!
