Slick, why not employ both then and use the ema, being the fastest, as the trigger line. It gives some reliable signals and has kept us on the right side of the market since early 2020 most notably taking us out at 48ish in the 1st week of December 2021. It will need some further tweaking, but the bones are there. The latest signal was on 1 July so it will be interesting to see how that pans out.
Very much work in progress so must not be used for making trading/investment decisions.
