Technical analysts should not attempt to make predictions, price is fluid like water, gas, electricity etc & pretty much random, what they can do is work with probabilities & statistics & make a guess as to what may happen next & be prepared to be wrong.
I've no idea where you made an entry, but you mention 10/11/2013 which was a Sunday, so I've plotted IMU from the Monday.
I take my hat off to you if you've been a holder since then & fully understand why you are a bit grumpy toward chartists.
The blue line is the industry standard long-term exponential 200 period moving average & if you're interested you could peruse the chart it to see if you could have done anything differently.
Your post struck a chord with me & the fact that you weren't rude made it worthy of a reply.
