Ichimokou is all over the classic and traditional in BB, RSI and MACD and volatility readings so need for repeat from me. Traditional RSI and OBV each come with their sensitivity limitations as we know which is why I sometimes prefer to also make a like for like comparison of price and volume readings. With similar volatility thoughts as most in mind I looked at today as an ideal opportunity to compare price and volume on a near identical scale and means of calculation. Chart below of my price and volume custom RSI. Here what I liked was the distinct separation of the price centric RSI from the volume band which for me is generally indicative of directional weakening. Another day and another page in the story that is IMU. Not a conventional analysis I know but neither is IMU! My opinion only of course!
