3rd option, the Steini-way.
Starting with 1m shares at 10c. Sp falls to 9.5c as sp rose from 3c to 10c. Sell 50% at 0.5c loss. If sp goes up again above 10c the remaining 50% may cover the small loss. If not, you still got cash. Now at 9c, HC pumpers say 20c soon, dumpers say 5c CR coming soon. If FA is still great the sp still can fall due to the rise from 3c.
You got tempted to but at 7c, bought 250k. Sp falls again, sell at 6.5c. Sp settles at 5c, FA, CR and TA suggest that's the bottom. Now you buy back up to a total of 1m shares. That way you haven't invested any extra $ but end up eirher with more shares or same number plus cash.
Now imagine that scenario daily over years and several stocks and you can make a living investing at the high speculative end of the ASX. Or just trade the banks, use 4 quarters of your money to trade the daily rangecand ut works as well. Or, if lucky, unlike me, chase the sp at the junior miners. Many get rich quickly there at the expense of people like me.
