Yeah nothing going to give you 100% but after spending hours, days, weeks, months, and years now focussing on them and their little quirks and intricacies they are a remarkably successful tool to follow momentum especially when transitioning from either retracing or extending.
Then it's just up to how disciplined the trader is in regards to how successful they want to be at both gains and more importantly, protecting capital.
Steini I have a group currently who have tape running vertically on their monitors blocking out the price numbers. The exercise is to then pretend a 10 minute chart is a daily and work on their entries and exits using only the technicals and not be biased about the numbers. It's a competition over three hours as to who comes out with the most. Bit of fun and a great way to get comfortable with the program. But it highlights how good this system is.
