Given MSB was on before and although they’d run overtime, the facilitator (John Hester) still took the time to ask about MSB finances, so I was tuned in ready for that question to Leslie.

However, despite MSB’s overrun, it was slightly surprising, that the facilitator, about to introduce Leslie, suddenly, said, “Oh it’s seems she’s not [here/ready/something] yet

Took a slight break, then Leslie “arrived” did her thing, but there wasn’t a hint of interest in asking Leslie about finances at any point.

Had the unexpected delay been so she could tell them not to ask her about finances because of ongoing discussions?

Or was she just late, and if she was late (is she often?) did she have to break off from other seriously competing priorities?

But as I said, really well structured presentation and delivered well. At one point when she’d walked through processes including what was required to select candidates, etc, prior to going into trials, Hester queried that results then might be about 6 months, she looked at him and said firmly (but pleasantly) to the effect “When I know the market will know”.

I’m sure she must be aware of all this HC hoo haa and I felt the subtext was “I just told you the complexities of this stuff. You want a product with an ironclad schedule? Invest in the railways and have their schedule sent to you every day (and even then you’ll be disappointed).”

I know she always sounds optimistic, but yesterday she was past plain old optimism - she was in confident control. Above all else, her pleasure in individuals being given an extra lease of life is always apparent, so at least someone has their eye on that particular prize.

Will my conclusion that there is something close that’s pleasing her that we will hear about soon be proved correct?

Judging by the utter desperation of the hordes to keep on telling all of us how low this price is going to go, they haven’t finished snorting up enough shares as yet, but they also fear something is nigh.
