Howdy Luke, nah not illegal and is an accumulation tactic, if accumulation is what you what to do. You can place buy orders at every price point if your platform allows as well as sell orders acting as capping. They do the same only on a bigger scale. So we can all do it, but who could be bothered?
It’s funny now as you just can’t take any information from the buy/ sell ledger, complete waste of time. Especially when 30-40 % of it gets loaded on in the am and removed after market. Only the first three lines mean anything these days, the rest is all non genuine.
Its a shame eh?
