Hey Slick, Going over the weekends posts. Although never a popular topic on these threads, Your on the money with IMU's need for consolidation.
Timing is everything. There's little doubt, should incoming data over the next few months match all of the hype Leslie's thrown around over the past 14 months, we should see at worst a minor rerate. In November 2023 we saw the initial Mast results, move the SP from near where it is today up to 15c within a few days. So waiting before doing any consolidation make sense. So to that of any further credit raisings, in minimizing further dilution.
Your suggestion of a 20:1 consolidation on todays pathetic 3.6c brings the SP up to 72c. Should the SP double in coming months then maybe do a 10:1 therefore people retaining 10% of their holding rather than 5% if done now. Whilst we're bogged down trading in fraction's of cents, its Shorter's heaven. A 20:1 would mean only 400m shares being traded rather than the 8b odd now. Based on simple supply and demand, shorter's wouldn't have the resources in acquiring enough shares, at that price in manipulating the market. There simply wouldn't be enough around, without paying a huge premium !
It's my belief based on Hopper mentioning acquiring a shell NASDAQ company, that after seeing a rerate- That a consolidation will happen later this year, for the purposes of a US listing. Let's just see how it plays out, however I'd be excited at that prospect, as you might just see the 5-10$ on the US markets. Time to get this company out of the country town, and off to the big smoke. Investors and cancer patients alike, are all at least owed that, for mine !
