Being a phase 1 a CR definitely shows the compound does have anti-cancer efficacy to a degree, otherwise it wouldn't be a CR. It doesn't translate to 100% success in future trials as there are still many hurdles to jump but given the response before optimal dose levels are identified definitely shows promise.
