Illegal? Hopper just follows the best in that business, the big 4 banks plus MacBank.
Centro-Group is the scenario Hopper follows. Last sp 0.1c, all remaining retail thrown out and declared as worthless.
Guess what, soon later the assets were sold for about USD10b!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hopper does the same. As neither IMU nor CHM got any debt nobody has a claim on them. He offers the board to buy the comps for a symbolic $1 and the boards agree. Once all has been legally sold to him and the paper work is complete he sells the assets for $100m, 1b......The previous board members get their cut and off he goes.
Again, has been done before and is all legal.
Once is a mistake, twice is a pattern. He tried a third time but got stopped by RAD's CEO. Unless the other 2 CEO's or someone else will intervene he got a free way to do it. Why else would he have done what he did when it was crystal clear to everyone what would happen.
If the CRs at CHM, 2nd tranche, and at IMU will go ahead, and I repeat IF,then there might be a tiny chance to turn the ship around but if not, and that is more likely, both comps will be driven to 0.1c. CHM 0.4c participants won't be able to sell their 1.45b shares still to be issued, will they still participate? Or will holders vote agaisnt it? Same scenario at IMU, who wants any shares even at 0.1c when there is no chance to sell them for a profit?
There is a reason why he hasn't presented the fundies first as it is usual. Get prepared for both deals to fall through and him offering the delisting and sale to him.
He is either insane or a cold blooded businessman. Both traits are dangerous for shs.
