    I don't disagree with your first point, or that we need to move away from chemo (or, neutralise all of it's negative side-effects) but sadly, Chemo is not a last resort at this stage, it's a global standard weapon in the fight against cancer, with considerable side effects. I don't think many (I certainly didn't) realise the catastrophic effects of Chemo on the heart and the knock on implication on life expectancy for those lucky enough to beat the cancer itself.

    One day we may well have non-chemo treatments for all cancers (i hope so), but at this stage, chemo is the most catch-all show in town and will be for many years.

    As I say, both IMU and RAC, along with many other companies working in this alternative space, and on different cancers, should be encouraged, but challenged with healthy questioning/ commentary. It can only help them reach the holy grail (being bought out by BP who will in turn finish the costly journey to a cure).

    It's just the bitching that does my head in!
