Hi Kluck,
I might add that, although the chart shows only 50 days of action, the shape of moving averages, such as the 50-Day MA, indicate action in the share price going back much more than 50-Days of action. The shape of the 50-Day MA provides a historical picture of share price action, albeit shifted to the right.
Charts with moving averages convey much more about historical prices than the period of time shown on the chart. Does that make sense?
